Remote Control Shades

Eliminate Unsightly Cords With Remote Control Shades

The construction of many homes today with high ceilings and high window openings presents a challenge for homeowners who want to have blinds or shades covering the windows. Using a ladder each time you want to adjust the opening of your blinds is not an optimum choice. There needs to be a safer solution than risking life and limb on a ladder. The answer is to have remote control shades installed on your windows. This is a convenient way to instantly control your window opening to either allow or block sunlight. It is your choice on how much you want to invest in remote control shade. Manufacturers have plenty of options for you to choose from.

Advantages of Remote Control Shades

There are many advantages to using remote control shades to cover your windows, even if you do not have high ceilings or large windows. For example, with a bay window, one of the biggest challenges is to obscure the center control cord. Their hanging and dangling can interfere with the ambience that bay windows can create in a room. Of course with remote control shades you eliminate unsightly cords because the control cord is not visible. With a push of a button, you are in control, not the cord.

Another consideration for using remote control shades is if you have small children. Their safety is important to you, and for most children, their curiosity will not allow them to ignore a dangling cord. This can lead to serious injuries, unless you install remote control shades in their bedroom and other rooms in your home. The Honeycomb Shade is a perfect example. You can purchase a 23” x 64” for only $129.99 and have an attractive, stylish and safe remote control activated shade to dress up your windows. These shades are easy to install, easy to clean and are also energy efficient.

Remote control shades are also easy to use. All you need is a fresh supply of batteries on hand, and you can enjoy a morning sunrise view without getting out of the bed. And, if you have a media center in your home, you may also want to install these shades in the room. You will be able to automatically adjust the darkness in the room to enjoy your movie.

There are a lot of great advantages to having remote control shades for you to consider for your new window treatments.

I hope I own a home someday that requires the use of a remote control to draw the shades. That sounds like real luxury to me.
